gibbyTrip is a GPS tracking application designed to upload your location data to the SpotWalla website, facilitating real-time sharing of your travels with friends and family.

Upon launching the app, users can start tracking their movements, with location information automatically uploaded to SpotWalla. The system accounts for periods of internet unavailability by buffering location data locally, which is subsequently uploaded once connectivity is restored.

In addition to continuous tracking, gibbyTrip offers the ability to capture images and upload them directly to SpotWalla. Users can also retrieve their most recent 100 location points and associate photographs with those specific locations.

The app can operate seamlessly in the background or be configured to prevent it from entering sleep mode, depending on user preferences.
